| Need a kindle for travel as i cannot take hardback books. So many options - which one should i pick? TIA. |
NVM. Looks like Paperwhite best option for my needs. Scribe looks great, but I don't need the extra real estate. |
| I like the paperwhite. It's durable, has a long battery, and the backlighting feature is subtle enough to not bother anyone near you while on an airplane. |

I have an Oasis, which they no longer make in the US. I love it and will be sad when it dies. I've had it since 2017 and it switched me from a physical copies only to preferring an ereader. I had tried reading on my ipad and hated it.
If I had to pick a new one, I'd go with Paperwhite. The main trick to keeping your battery life high is to leave it in airplane mode when you are not actively downloading. |
| I like the Kindle Fire tablet. You can download books, magazines, or movies/tv shows. With a traditional Kindle or Paperwhite, you’re basically limited to books. |

Paperwhite all the way. Doesn't give you the eye fatigue of a traditional tablet (if you've noticed that as an issue).
They're built to last, too. |
