Rochester priority RD is out

That’s great! What is “priority “ RD? Is that just for Rochester or a category I haven’t learned yet?

It’s priority consideration for merit money. You have to apply by 12/1 but it’s a regular decision application.

Not sure how common this is….but for another data point - BU does this too and we almost missed it - make sure you read all deadlines not just the “round” you are applying to

Rochester has an early assurance program that offers a conditional acceptance to UR's medical school for sophomores. Only a few schools have similar programs, inlcuding Northwestern and Tufts.

Not OP, but we have multiple friends whose kids go there. It's a great school!

Peer recommendation at Rochester is truly optional. DC didn't have one still admitted.
