Wegman's app

Does anyone use it and save money using it?
I thought I was getting the best deals at Wegmans by plugging in my phone number. But no, there was an item I wanted to buy that said I would save more with an "online coupon".

I didn't buy the product and didn't realize Wegmans played these stupid games.

I checked online and it seems safeway is the worst with this. And places like Lidl are just- buy the groceries-- here's the price.

I'm so sick of these stupid games. Don't grocery stores realize it backfires, especially now with prices so high?

I use it to locate items in the store. I don’t find the coupons helpful for what I typically buy.

Giant also does this - additional coupons on the app + items cheaper with phone number. Such a hassle. I guess that's the point - many people lose out on savings. I take my time now and make sure the cashier helps me with the app. Half the time they have to get the manager. Fine, I have the time. These stores are ripping people off. More people should pay attention.

I have never received a discount for using the app. Wegmans is already cheaper than Safeway and Giant in my area anyway. It's just too far for quick visits.

They have a handful of coupons in the app but the most I have saved from those is $1

I check the coupons regularly and add the ones I might use. Then when I’m in the store I filter the coupons by the ones that I’ve already “clipped” and decide if I want to purchase any of them that day.

Wegmans is terrible with sales, there are hardly ever coupons and often they are for things I don't care about.

It is an expensive store.

Wegmans is nice but chaotic. I send my teens to shop there and pick up the grocery. They know all the workers by name at the butcher department haha.

I discovered that even if you go directly through the Wegmans app or website (if they shop for you), the prices are significantly higher than if you use the app to create a shopping list and do your own shopping. I also think their store brand products are price well and are sometimes higher quality than at stores like Giant and Safeway. I don't do my every day shopping there, but I do really like it for some things.

+1. I add/clip the Giant/Safeway/Wegmans coupons in the app before I go to whichever store, but it is too much for my elderly parents who are on a fixed income ad shop at Giant daily. They're the ones losing out on savings and paying more.

Wegmans has been sending me $10 off 40 coupons in the mail recently. Wegmans is not too close but that coupon made me go.

I love the App. I use it to make a list before I go and I fly through the store. If I am getting something new, it tells me exactly where to find it. It's annoying that it's really for ordering groceries so the costs displayed on the app are more than the in store cost. It's definitely a less expensive store than others and the Wegman's brand is way better than other grocery store brands.
