Holy Trinity decision date?

Anonymous
Does anyone know when Holy Trinity usually releases admissions decisions? Their website says early March, but with all of the independent schools releasing today, I'm wondering if they might do the same? We've also already heard from the other parochial K-8s that we applied to, and it seems to me that it would put HTS at a disadvantage if they are the last to let everyone know about admissions.

Holy trinity is not a great place and has a terrible principal so go with whatever other school you got into

Care to elaborate?

Last year we received our acceptance to HTS before we heard decisions from independent private schools. I don’t know what the process is like this year.

Not the PP but absolutely agree. The school needs new leadership immediately.

What’s the problem with the current principal? All the current families I know seem happy.

That’s because there was a mass exodus the two years after she took over. Almost half the staff and countless families left because of her. I imagine the ones there don’t know any different or liked her and her terrible leadership from the start.

I am not surprised by this. We toured the school and passed on it. The parents tour guide literally ignored DH and I when we visited. He latched on to what appeared to be a very wealthy woman with whom he had some remotely removed mutual contact in common. When we peeled off and left early, the guide didn’t even notice. There were only 4 people in the group - DH and I, the very wealthy woman and another lady. I thought, good God, is this reflective of the overall culture here? Bad look.

We are a current HTS family and have been at the school for the previous principal and the current one. Please take other negative comments with a grain of salt unless they can provide additional information.

We love the school and have no issue with the current principal. In our experience, some of the turnover of students seems related to the current presidential administration.

Everything can't be Trump's fault.

Our family has been at the school for several years and this is not true. At all. In our experience there has been very little attrition in families and staff and current principal is well-liked and respected.

The tour structure leaves much to be desired. It’s a tight knit fun parent community if you’re part of the crowd but if you’re an outsider good luck. Every school has its issues, but there are some glaring ones at HTS. But maybe that’s just parochial schools in general. I think the threads here about the school speak for themselves.
