Feeling discouraged after being waitlisted today at our top preschool choices downtown. We’ve heard applications were especially high this year, so we’re not expecting much waitlist movement.
We were accepted to our third choice, which we genuinely like and that seems like a good fit for our family, but it’s not considered a feeder or particularly connected.
I understand that strong preschool director advocacy can play a significant role in K admissions to TT schools. For families who applied to uptown TT schools from unconnected private preschools, were you successful, and if so, did you navigate the process on your own or with the help of an admissions consultant?
Trying to understand whether admission is realistically possible from outside the usual pipelines.
