| We have a coffeehouse spot that is comfortable for hanging out in the mourning or afternoon for an hour, and they are calm dog friendly. However, they close at 6PM, and I am wondering if any other such place exist that is open a little later in the evening for early evenings after work. Thanks for any suggestions. |
| Breweries are usually dog friendly |
| What part of town? Does it need to be inside or a heated and covered patio for bad weather or just any outdoor patio? I know a ton but mostly in Georgetown, Dupont, Logan, Foggy Bottom, and downtown. Ie neighborhoods where we walk. |
| Something covered and heated, we have lots of outdoor patio spaces for good weather. Thanks. -Matt |

Dacha
Dog Daze Social Club |
| There’s one in shirlington. I think it’s more of an indoor dog park with beer though. I haven’t been. Snouts and stouts maybe? |

In Logan:
Aslin Wet Dog Tavern (dogs allowed both in and outside) |
Most of these are... not dog friendly. OP, I second checking out breweries - Lost Generation in Eckington/DC is great and welcomes well-behaved leashed dogs. |
What's your definition of dog friendly? All of these allow well behaved, leashed dogs either inside or on their heated and covered patio. |
| Ugh, I don't want to see your dog while I'm inside a restaurant trying to enjoy my meal. |
|
Why do you need to take your dog with you everywhere? Can't you just leave it at home?
There are lots of places that allow a well behaved and leashed dog on an outdoor patio, but it's a health code violation indoors. And do NOT be the lying ahole who says it's a service animal when it's not, or some BS "emotional support/therapy dog." |
