This makes me feel very old. I remember when everyone was watching the first season. And my crazy stepfather, who is long since dead, had sent in an audition tape to be on it at some point.

The problem for me is Colby and Jenna are probably the only ones I remember. I don't recognize most of the people in the commercial so it would be just a regular season to me.

Very excited about season 50! But I do think the few old school folks will get kicked off very quickly. That always seems to be the way it goes.

I don't care. I only remember a few players well anyway. Rob and Ambah, Ollie, Russ, Hatch, Rudy, Parvati (loathed her), Mike White, the Harvard law guy. Most of them are a blur.

I generally don't like it when they bring the old players. I feel like the old players have already well-established "schticks" about why they are and it just feels kind of stale.

They (Jeff Probst and other producers) mislead a few well-known former players into thinking they were being cast, then having them find out they weren't by the social media announcement of the season. Imagine what you do to prepare to leave your home/family/job/life for this show?

A lot of people are up in arms that Stephanie Lagrosa was cast despite making hateful comments online - including some horrible things about Jewish people. She's super MAGA, but...CBS.
