fun places to get coffee near downtown Silver Spring?

I think Mayorga's closed...is there another place in the area that is comparable? I'm meeting a friend on Saturday late morning. I'd also be willing to go somewhere in NW DC if I could get parking very easily!

I like Busboy and Poets in the U street area. Most of the coffee shops in downtown Silver Spring are chains like Caribou and Starbucks but Kefa Cafe on Bonifant Street in Silver Spring is cute but really small.

Kefa Cafe. Highland Coffee on Fenton (not in downtown SS) is also nice.

They didn't close....just in a new location...not sure where though.
