WAFC spring MS league - any good?

My 7th grade DS has never played UF and the description of the WAFC MS spring league (at Sligo Middle) seems like a good fit for a first timer. We know nothing about ultimate frisbee but I’d like him to try something new as he hasn’t really found his “thing” yet. Anyone done this before for their kid or know anything about it? Any recommendations or thoughts on the MS program/league
