| Which Service Academy would you choose? |
| I would be pretty wary about pursuing military service at this particular time. I don't think I've ever seen it be so extremely politicized and that is very concerning. |
| From what i've seen The US Merchant Marine Academy is where rich families sent their kids, who don't actually want to join the military |
| USNA is the easy choice |
|
Ask yourself, do these people look ready for battle

She's about to do her 5 year Obligation on a Cruise Ship in Hawaii |
That might be a good choice if she wants a break from snarky jerk-offs for a bit and there are less of them on Hawaiian cruise ships. |
The Prettier the women are the less serious the Military School / Military Service is The US Merchant Marine Academy, The Coast Guard, The Airforce has the prettiest Officers |
God bless all the women that serve in our military and the garbage they have to deal with. |
| If certain that a naval career is the end goal, then USNA, no question. If unsure, then USMMA would give more flexibility (and more lucrative career options post-graduation). |
Same goes for the men. No ugly mugs permitted in the merchant marine, the Coast guard, or the Air Force. If you're not a pretty boy, it's army, navy, marines for you. |
+1 and it’s a great time to go in. |
Either one can be a good choice for the right person. However, with regard to any military academy as a choice, just remember your kid has to really really want it. |
Why is it a great time to go in? |
| USNA definitely. |
