| Please recommend some great outings in the Los Angeles area to do with teens (girls). |

Ha ha this is impressively vague, but at least you put the kids ages, I guess.
What time of year? What sorts of things do they like to do? Where are you staying? Any physical restrictions? |
| See if anything is airing during your stay and be part of studio audience. |
Spring Break They like the beach, shopping, sports, instagrammable type places |
| Noooo! the traffic! I'm from there and won't go back because of it. Allow extra time to get anywhere. |

My kids loved biking the Strand from Santa Monica down to Redondo.
It goes inland a bit at Marina Del Ray but not hard to follow. It’s all flat and right along the beach. Unstopping at all the beach towns along the way. You of course don’t have to go all the way to Redondo. |

My teens liked The Getty Museum but allow a few hours. We were cramming it in and didn't have nearly enough time. They also loved the Hollywood/Stars Homes tour. Cheesy but it is fun and interesting. Hike to the Hollywood sign--the views are worth it.
We also really liked the Warner Brothers Studio Tour. And there is always Disneyland and Universal. LA has a CityPASS that is worth buying if you want to hit the touristy highlights. |
| I lived there for a couple of years a have been back recently -- and have teen girls. They loved the Grammy Museum and the Grove (shopping area in West Hollywood). If they are interested in the beach, make a reservation at the Annenberg Beach Club in Santa Monica. The reservation is basically for the parking space. Once you're there, they have beach chairs, a pool, and a cafe. The Academy of Motion Pictures Musuem opened a few years ago--I haven't been but it sounds great. Brentwood Country Mart has cute shops and is a great celeb sighting spot. |
| Broad museum is cool for modern and contemporary art. |

We go back every year to visit family. This year, we are going to the garment district and Korea town for shopping and food.

The Annenberg Beach House and pool is an awesome place, we went there years ago with our kids, it's an historic pool and very reasonable, around $10/person (or was maybe 2019 or so). But the main attraction is the pool and pool deck/chairs, and that part is only open from Memorial Day through end of September, so wouldn't work for a spring break trip. https://www.santamonica.gov/how-to-purchase-a-beach-house-pool-pass |
| The Grove. |
Yes this is great! Get e bikes though. |
| you should take a studio tour and hit up universal |
+ 1 to this, especially if you do the VIP Universal tour where you get priority access to all of the rides and a behind-the-scenes look at the sets/prop room. DDs also liked Santa Monica pier and renting bikes there, as well as shopping in Abbott Kinney. We tried to get tickets to attend a live show but couldn't find anything we liked, but I think that would have been fun. |
