Those things are wrecking having on infrastructure. There is no such thing as "flushable wipes," whatever the label says. Maybe they won't mess up your home, but they clog pipes and pumps. Ditto for tampons. Or anything other than human waste and regular TP.

| I don’t think they are good for your pipes in your house. |
They aren't put people are moronic. |
| This has been known for years on both topics. No matter what the packaging says, it's not good. |
|
Everyone knows this.
What is this OP? ThE tRIck YouR PluMBer DoeSn'T WaNt YoU tO KNoW?! |
OP here. No, unfortunately everyone does not know this. There are plenty of dipshits who still think it's ok to flush these wipes, or tampons. There have been threads where people have defended both on DCUM. And clearly.... with the giant sewage breach, lots of people are still doing this. Sorry to burst your "duh OP" ego. |
| I'd be perfectly happy if the government banned these |
Then people would just use baby wipes. We do use wipes in my house (I have a toddler) but we throw them in the trash can. Adults use bidets. |
Moronic like getting "put" and "but" confused? Like that? |
Seriously, everyone knows this. Those that don't at this point are so beyond defending. |
NP. Yet there are those who don't so what is the harm in the PSA? |
| I will always and forever flush the wipes and tampons. Do you just let that ish rot in your trash can? Nasty. |
| It leads to fatberg. Google it. Not if you’re eating though |
| And stop flushing tampons! |
Well thanks to you, you're now going to be drinking your own brine. |
