Just curious about your experience with night sweats...am I freak?!

Anyone sweat so much from your inner thighs and groin at night that you feel like you peed yourself? Dear god...this is a relatively new manifestation of the night sweats and can't say I am loving it.

Just make sure it’s peri and not something else. I personally only had like 2 hot flashes, my mom and sisters also didn’t suffer much from them, but I feel you.

Night sweats were the worst. HRT solved them almost immediately, but ugh.

Yes. So sweaty. Mostly my lower body / crotch.

Do you have any itching or unexplained weight loss? Any swollen lymph nodes? Those can all be signs of lymphoma. I realize hot flashes are a part of menopause for many women, so those can be really normal. But if you notice any other symptoms, bring it up to your doctor.

Yep. Had these several night at age 50. Then again at age 52 for about a month. Once at party at age 53. At almost age 54 still wake up nightly. But honestly not too bad. And certainly so much better than being a younger parent. No HTH and feeling fine!

I’ve had to change clothes because they are literally soaked. Just now, sitting in the couch I shed all my clothes down to bra and undies because I got so hot sweat beaded at my neck, hairline, behind my knees.

This is BS. Women legit are subjected to a bodily nightmare from puberty until menopause.

Yes I’ve had this a few times. Triggered by having more than 2 drinks (alcohol). I also thought I’d peed myself. It was in the 12 month period after my last period. I’m 2 years past this and things are much better. Still run hot, but no more sweaty nights. I’m not on HRT due to breast cancer and stroke risk.

I have to change clothes its so bad my underwear and sleep shirts soaked. My neck smells sweaty and my hairs damp in the back its horrible. 9 years now. I can't sleep at all. Between this and peeing 24/7 its a nightmare.

Why doesn’t anyone warn us about this in advance? I thought crotch sweat was inevitable then I started HRT and it’s like the good old days. I don’t have to wear athletic underwear all the time.

No warning for anything. I was not at all prepared for any of this. I wish I had had some notice. I had no idea things would go from "suck" to "I don't want to be here anymore".

Weed gummies have totally cooled me down.

I had night sweats really badly. Like I’d have to shower when I woke up in the middle of the night-bad. Then I went on continuous birth control and the night sweats stopped.

I haven't been super sweaty but I wake up twice a night at 2am and then 5am feeling hot. The sleep disruption and the insanely irregular periods are the worst peri symptoms for me
