Girls weekend near Philly?

Anonymous
Looking to do a 50th birthday weekend, with women coming from DC, NYC, and New Haven. Any good spots near Philly maybe? Or NJ? Cozy winter vibes, not beach vibes.

How much do you want to spend?

The spa at Woodloch is amazing, but $$$.
Similar vibe at Mohonk (which is more of a drive for the DC person)

My only sister is turning 50 so $$$ is ok. I don't mind more of the drive for me, DC person. The others are busier / more kids / less travel time helpful for them.

I immediately thought of the Spa at Woodloch as well. I love that place and it is well positioned geographically for people coming from New York and DC.

Maybe Brandywine Valley area—Longwood Gardens (make a rez at new restaurant), art museum, Winterthur. Depends what you’re into.

Np: I am local to Philly and think it’s kind of eh. It’s cute-ish but I have had middling hotel/restaurant experiences. Maybe I just don’t know the right places to go. I think there is a nicer hotel in Lambertville (across the bridge).

I'm also in Philly area now, and New Hope is nice and all, but I wouldn't spend a whole weekend there. The Lodge at Woodloch or Skytop in the Poconos would both be nice. You don't want to do NYC?
