I don't know what my body is doing after coming off birth control

45, and went off of the BCP after being on it for a long time. It was affecting my bloodwork, and doctor and I decided to come off of it.
On any given day, I have no idea what my body is doing. I thought I was ovulating due to being horny (to put it bluntly) and according to discharge. Then 4 days later I got my period (22 day cycle). Sometimes it's 5 weeks. Sometimes it's 19-22 days. Judging by family history, menopause would hit me around 50. Am I really in for 5 years of this total unpredictability?! I've been off the pill for 9 months, and things are still all over the place. |
