Sockpuppeting in GDS thread?

Is there sockpuppeting in the GDS thread? Even if not seems like that thread has outlived its usefulness and could be locked.

I've spent a lot of time cleaning up that thread and have not seen any sock puppeting. What has been happening in a poster joining the thread and making several replies one after the other. That seems to be simply because they are reacting to several different posts.
