In the past year, doctors have asked me if I mind if they use a live or not live note-taking service.
One service has a real person taking notes. The other is an app, which I assume records our conversation. What are the safeguards for this data? I assume there will be a leak and our private health data will be out there for anyone on the dark web to access?? The result is that I barely spoke. I nodded or spoke in very short sentences. I'd rather the doctor be recorded instead of me. Hopkins had a big leak and my data was part of it, so someone out there already knows my Hopkins health-related info. |
