Its melting pretty good with this recent change. There is a chance

I live near a couple of fields, and my kids want to know when they will be able to get back out there so we took a peek. One is looking pretty good with minimal snow and ice left on it. The other is still pretty bad. The one that is bad has more trees nearby. I guess they can open fields that are clear while keeping others closed? And I guess they have to send people around to all of the fields to assess their condition before making a decision? I think some fields are still going to be closed this week because it’s taking forever for the snow and the ice at the edges to go away. And we know they won’t open up fields until they are completely clear.

Just google Fairfax county field status. They update it everyday around 3 I believe

I think we will be ok after today. That rain cleared a lot of the ice in the turd fields. Did a number on bda grass and the like however

I pass one on the way to work and there is still a little snow. Hard to say for today. More sun would be great, but I do not think we are getting it.

They don't announce field closures until 3 pm.
