IB school FCPS, accepted with $15k merit, Engineering.
1540 Sat, 3.9/4.4 gpa, highest rigor in math/physics/chemistry .Nothing super special in ECs ( typical varsity sport, work last 3 years), no national or regional recognitions. |

One thing we did not realize is that if you want to be considered for merit out-of-state, you have to apply EA or ED. |
