UC Berkeley Early Acceptances

UC Berkeley sent out some early acceptances yesterday. Did anyone get in? If so which majors/stats?

Don’t worry if you haven’t heard yet—the vast majority of admits get results at the end of March.

Nope. My kid told me that the early notifications are for star STEM kids and kids they really want to come. He did NOT get notified yet, unfortunately.

Early acceptances at Cal are only for the top 1-2% or academic stars. 98% will get their decisions around March 25th.

No they just admit some students early every year. Generally those getting Regents scholarships or into dual degree programs.

My kid was accepted early few years ago. He also received the Regents' scholarship which is awarded to some of the early admits.
