eye cream for aging, hooded eyes

Anonymous
I’ve used Kiehl’s avocado eye cream for years. It just isn’t cutting it anymore. My eyes are more and more sagging and hooded, with fine lines, and undereye bags and darkness.

Do any eye creams help with these issues for aging eyes? I know nothing short of surgery is a miracle worker, but I’d love to invest in a cream that actually provides some help.

I used Strivectin cream and it helped minimize fine lines but did nothing for the sagging. I finally got an upper and lower bleph and it’s taken years off my face.

I only choose moisturising eye creams. I also use retinol and lactic acid, which helps with exfoliation of the skin and preventing milium. Surgery will lift and restructure the skin.

Peter Thomas Roth makes a gel that is a temporary fix, I wear it if I'm going out fancy, that is hard to describe, but kind of glue-like and holds the lid back for the evening. Not uncomfortable.

Can you recommend a surgeon?

My mother used this and swears that it takes 10 years off her face. I bought some but haven’t tried it yet!

In general Peter Thomas Roth makes good products.

OP here. This is the product that prompted me to post my question! It is recommended by Allure for these issues, but I wanted some real feedback. Thanks to you and other posters for providing it!

It sounds like you use it for spot occasions, not as an everyday eye cream, right?

OP here- this is the product recommended by Allure that I referenced. They recommend it as daily eye cream, though.

Does it stretch and damage the lids over time? I heard that about eyelid stickers, whichcdi the same thing.

Dr. Jabs in Bethesda.

A cream is not going to help that issue, sorry but true.
