| Not sure if this is allowed but just in case anyone has questions about Burke |
| Do you like the school? Where else did you look? What is it like socially? |
| How would you describe the students? Are they from all walks of life (jocks, artsy, etc) or do they skew a certain way? |
| Can you share how easy it is to make friends, connect with others? Also, do you feel connected to the faculty? |
It depends on the grade but there are a lot of kids who like art. Burke’s not really a stoner school anymore. There are some athletes but I wouldn’t really call them jocks. A lot of gay kids. |
OP here, Burke’s pretty good. I looked a little at Field and public schools but my older brother went there so I decided to go there. |
OP here, in middle school most people make friends unless they’re really annoying. In high school there’s maybe one kid without friends. The faculty is very friendly. |
| Are the kids mostly “quirky” like DCUM says? Or would a mainstream kid fit in? |
OP here, a mainstream kid could definitely find friends but a significant amount of kids are “quirky”. |
| What kind of assignments and books did you complete in English? |
OP here, depends on the grade but 1984 is a big event for us. There are assigned roles and rules students have to follow to give the feel of the book. |
| What are all of the grades like? |
| No question but thank you for doing this. Your responses are great! |
+1. |

OP, what is your motivation for this post? Do you hope to recruit a certain type of student? Are you trying to break down a stereotype?
