Strep throat, just venting!!

I and my kids have strep throat. We have all been on antibiotics for about a day and a half. My kids are TOTALLY FINE today, and at the 24 hour mark they had no sore throat, no fever, and were running around the backyard. Meanwhile, I still have a temp of a little over 100 and I'm lying in bed watching Netflix. My sore throat is a lot better at least.
How come I can't bounce back like them?? Vent over. Also, anyone else still have a fever after 24hr or more on amoxicillin for strep? Internet tells me to give it 48 hours and I will, but, my kids always bounce back in like 12 hours from strep so I was hoping to do the same! |
