Looking for feedback on this place for a middle schooler who got interested in sports late and wants to play high school sports, specifically basketball...he has slow reaction time and needs to fine tune some other stuff.
Overall looking to see what people think of the quality of the personal training. |
| My HSer loves it. The training is great and has made a difference in strength and speed. We started with 1-on-1 and then moved to small group. My kid looks forward to it every week |
| Which location does your son go to? How pricey is it? |
|
Reston location but has also been to Alexandria. Reston is the new location. Both are really nice.
I think the small group is $85 a session and 1-on-1 is $110. They have team training too and that was done through the club |
| Wow, that's pricy. |
| Anyone with feedback on the original Rockville location? |
| Never heard of Healthy Ballers, but with any basketball training, much of the quality of the training depends on who the trainer is. |
| Google the owner. |
| Both my kids (DS and DD) trained at the pre-fire facility in Old Town during the summers. It wasn't convenient during the school year, but they both got stronger, ran faster, and jumped higher by the end. |
| Have kid that has used both Rockville and DC locations and it made a huge difference. He really enjoys it. |
what does that mean |
there is more than one owner and Google is not showing me anything shady about them. |
|
Is it worth the cost?
Who is the owner? |
| We feel like it has been worth it- staff has been great with my teenager and she has gotten stronger, faster, more flexible and she enjoys the sessions. I think it has helped with injury prevention. |
| My kid always loved it. Rockville location. |
