Did your weightloss speed up as you increased your dose?

If you didn't lose much weight on the starter dose, did it increase as you went higher? How long did it take you to get to a dose that worked?

My scale is broken so I cannot be accurate here, but I am 3+ months in just now feeling like it might be doing something, though no visible change or change in how my clothes fit yet. I am hopeful at this point though. only two shots on current dose.

Absolutely. At 2mg the weight flew off.

Zepbound - it’s been pretty constant from 2.5 to 5.0. I was on 2.5 for 3 months and then I’ve been on 5 for 3 months. My hunger started coming back on 2.5 so that was the increase to 5.

Now that I’m tracking more closely, I’m looking at it as monthly averages. I’ve lost an average of 8 pounds each month. Some weeks I’ve lost nothing. Others I’ve lost 3+ pounds. My weight tends to fluctuate a lot day to day.

^ And I completely changed my diet from the beginning. Are you seeing a nutritionist too?

I was on 2.5mg of zepbound and weight came off very quickly and then it sort of stalled around month 4. Increased to the full vile which is something like 3.1mg and weight started falling off again. Reached my goal weight and am now doing the full vile but every three weeks. Weight has remained stable for close to a year.

Also +1 to the nutritionist. The zep was the vehicle that allowed me to get my cravings under control and the nutritionist has helped me completely relearn how to eat. That may sound silly but I look at food completely differently now

What’s a vile?

Yes, it's obvious when you basically stop eating much at all. I eat maybe 1/4th of a meal per day.

Wegovy here - I am finding it is slowing because I am not eating enough because I am not hungry at all and thus probably not getting enough protein/calories. I find myself trying not to get sick when I force myself to drink a protein shake/bar/eat when I am not hungry. I went from consistently losing 2lbs week to losing 2 pounds every 2-3 weeks.
