Sandwich platter for Galentines lunch

Anonymous
I’m hosting a Galentines lunch for my teen and her friends. Where can I order a nice sandwich platter from? I don’t want to make sandwiches myself.

Another option: buy rolls and croissants and sandwich fillings from Lidl. Slice the rolls and put everything on a platter. Sandwich buffet! Very inexpensive and popular with my teen for parties.

Sorry to piggy-back, but have any of you found British afternoon tea-style sandwiches? I always get a hankering for those sandwiches every Spring, and make them myself because I can't find any. Making those for a large group would be very labor intensive.

I like this idea. It sounds fun.

Giant has surprisingly good sandwich platters -- you can even choose wtih Boars HEad products. Also it's easy to order online and pickup.

My teens did this with their cousins. Part of the fun was that they worked together and made the sandwiches themselves. They used metal cookie cutters to make the bread cute shapes and remove the crusts. My job was just to drive and pay on the shopping trip but they make the supplies list, did the shopping, sandwich making, and cleanup.

I also asked them to save the crust pieces they cut off and then used them in a bread pudding.

For op's group that's very sweet of you to buy a platter, but I'd probably tell my teen dd to make the sandwiches herself and/or help her set up a make-your-own-sandwich tray.

If buying, I had Panera sandwiches at a conference recently and they weren't bad.

If these are just for you, the Ritz and Strathmore have afternoon teas.
