JO Wilson and Burroughs

How do JO Wilson and Burroughs compare in leadership, staff stability, curriculum and environment wise? Burroughs highlights a steam focus in their open house discussion points but not sure how that is delivered in the classroom.

JO Wilson has a far better middle school. And that means far better student retention in upper grades.

My kid is currently in 5th at Burroughs. They only lost 2 students from 4th-5th grade.. so retention is good despite what PP said.

We’ve had a very good experience at Burroughs. Test scores are consistently going up. Staff and leadership are stable. Many experienced teachers with strong classroom management. Vast majority of families live close to school, walk, hang out at the playground after school. Lots of different clubs and field trips for a small school. It’s a nice community.
