| Has anyone seen these posted for 5th grade? |
| Yes. The score is in test history on parentvue, the full report is not in documents yet. |
| Any idea when the full report will be published? |
| or i-ready? Drives me nuts that it takes so long to publish a score that is available to them the day the test is completed. |
| they don’t have to post full reports until 30 days after testing period ends. they posted raw MAP scores early this year (my 3 kids were posted end of january). but no report. and iready aren’t up at all yet. i hate how long they wait to give parents info |
| It’s ridiculous. |
| Who or what does the posting to parentvue? If its an automated process, it shouldn't vary by school. |
|
I had to ask my local school and they provided the winter reports for both MAP and iReady. They indicated that for FCPS has a district-level policy for providing test interpretation reports.
At our prior school district, each new test (MAP for both reading and math) generated a report for parents with amazing trending data an insights over time. I assume FCPS has all of this data and just doesn't provide it??? Why? |
| I'm fairly certain they will post some reports, they just haven't yet. I don't know why it takes so dang long though... |
| My school indicated they would be posted to parent vue on Monday. |
i doubt they will. the fall report is in parentvue and it just has scores for each category. nothing to help parents analyze any of it |
So it is schools who do the uploading? |
| it’s monday and still nothing. my kids took these tests before winter break. it’s ridiculous |
|
I believe FCPS is noncompliant with their own standard. MAP, i-ready, and other tests are supposed to be released WITHIN approx. 1 month of the close of the assessment window.
The window ended Jan 28th, it's March 2nd and no results!! |
| The delay in knowing what the scores are makes me so frustrated. By the time you as their parent know the score - if it's something they needed help with you've lost precious time. And their skills change quickly for better or worse so it's a just a moot snapshot by the time you get the score and analysis. We need to push for timely reporting of scores. |
