I have ordered from Tuckernuck quite a few times. I have been happy with the products, but their customer service is nonexistent. The way in which their products are packaged and delivered is subpar at best.
I just received my order with two items in it. One of them was in a bag, and it was literally bunched up in a ball. The other item was packaged in the same manner which Tuckernuck received it from the vendor. The items were in one of those indestructible flimsy envelopes. Before posting this I reached out to Tuckernuck 3x and got a generic response from a bot that did not address my concerns. I send little treats to my daughters from Tuckernuck. There is an option to pay for giftwrap but a regular order should be decent and it’s not. Not even tissue paper. I feel foolish for supporting this business. I expect and pay for better. Attention to detail is expected at this price point. Hey Tuckernuck….do better. |
| I mean...yeah, customer service is declining everywhere these days but is the item damaged? If not, not really sure what you want Tuckernuck to do here? Apologize? Send you a new item packed nicely? |
OP literally said what she wants Tuckernuck to do: “do better” Here’s what I think you should do - learn how to read before criticizing. |
DP. What does “do better” mean here? Nowhere in OPs post does it say the item was damaged. OP had shipping options including gift packaging but didn’t choose that. Maybe you should read instead of being so snarky. |
| The trend is less packaging to be eco friendly. |
I know she wants them to do better. What does "do better" mean for her? |
|
I agree with you, OP. It’s inexcusable, given their price point and target customers. It has nothing to do with being eco-friendly 🙄.

| First of all, the clothes are hideous. Second, they are very popular with MAGA ladies. Gross. |
| Halsbrook had wonderful cardboard boxes, and it went out of business. So there you go. |
I'm a Democrat and I wear Tuckernuck lol. A lot of liberals I know shop there. |
This is becoming the norm, sadly. |
What are you on about. It's where the late-middle-aged liberal women I know order clothes as well. |
Surely there is something somewhere in between clothing rolled up in a ball and "gift packaging" that one would be reasonable to expect. And if Tuckernuck could find that in-between-place, that it would be reasonable for customers to expect, they would be doing better. NP |

I don’t have this experience at all. Are the items beautifully packaged, no. They are packaged just like an online order I’d get from JCrew, which is to say in a completely satisfactorily fashion.

I agree that details matter. You don’t need to giftwrap a treat you send to your daughters but it is reasonable to expect an attractive presentation when pkg is received.
Unfortunately the bot thing is becoming normal. I avoid companies that treat customers this way. First and foremost you don’t bite the hand that feeds you. Tuckernuck needs customers but customers don’t need Tuckernuck. |
