Corduroy blazer in Santa Barbara?

| Headed to Santa Barbara in one week for a casual work meeting. Never been. Will be in plant, not an office. I would normally wear jeans and a blazer, regardless of location. Is a corduroy blazer in SB appropriate? Thanks! |

| California is much more informal than the east coast so I think yes. I am not sure exactly what the dress code is, but you would definitely fit in Santa Barbara if you added some boho flair like a scarf, dangly earrings, boots. I have relatives in that part of the world and they literally do look like Instagram boho chic influencers. At the same time, the Central Coast is real sporty/farmer/rancher/winemaker country (even $$ Santa Barbara) so dressing like you might go on a hike later is often appropriate. don’t get me wrong - the girls also dress up to go out - but they all also have their dresses down 4H version. |

| Oh also - corduroy blazer is probably a good choice for the weather, which will be chilly and damp. It looks like it will be colder than usually next week so people will probably be wearing fleeces and hoodies (bc they don’t have real winter coats). |
