Sad about my jowls

Anonymous
53 year old woman here who has practically no lines or wrinkles, but whose lower face just hangs. I can”t afford a facelift nor the $6k plus yearly of injectables it would take to treat this

This has completely ruined the structure of my face. I don’t mind looking older, but I would like to at least be able to look like an attractive older lady, not hot or sexually appealing, but not ugly which I feel i have now become.

Don’t know if there is really any advice that can be given. I guess I just feel the need to lament.

Angela Lansbury had jowls she didn’t bother “fixing” and I think we can all agree she was pretty awesome.

Maybe try one of those micro current devices to help with the firmness. They help slightly with consistent use. And losing weight helps too.

My IG is telling me that beef tallow cream is the answer. 77 yr old Babs (the IG cooking grandma) swears by some cream with honey.
I'm searching too ...

Save your money. No cream is going to fix low hanging jowls. Only a plastic surgeon can fix them.

Mine came out of nowhere this winter and surprise. 54. It’s an unfortunate addition to a series of unattractive changes and I didn’t start out pretty.

I hate also that it makes me look angry and mean.

Have same problem, late 40s. Any suggestions on over the counter beauty products? Often it's in the family.

I'm starting to sag as well. Had a consult recently with the cosmetic derm and she made it clear that surgery is the only answer for that -- anything else is snake oil.

I'm 45 and I'm starting to sag like my father.

Also I have an autoimmune disease that is giving me very puffy undereyes, which then create purple shadows. Under my right eye, my eyebag has an eyebag!!!

My complexion is good and I have no visible wrinkles unless you look at me under a microscope, and I dye my strand of white hair at the right temple... so I guess I can't complain.

Me too, OP

Is “Facercises” real?

https://www.facercise.com/about-carole/

If it is it should be at senior centers like “bone builders”

When I learned that an excellent deep plane facelift would cost me $150k with the very best surgeons — and really, you’d want only the best for this — I just stopped looking in the mirror. Literally. It’s my cope
