Will the snow ice melt next week?

I’m still not able to get into alley parking and struggling to find spots on the street. Was hoping for a sustained warm up next week but lows look like it will still be below freezing.

Not all of it.

The big, packed down snow and ice piles are going to be there for a long time. The smaller piles and any areas of unshoveled sidewalks and paths will start to get better this coming week especially if we do get some rain mid-week.

Hoping more street parking in neighborhoods will be available....

If you want it to melt, you go out and break some up each day and make sure the smaller bits are in the sun. Won’t be done in a day, but what’s left on blacktop will melt each day.

Yes, this. And when it's at its warmest on Wednesday at 5:30 PM, get out and shovel.

We’re supposed to get more snow next weekend.

The high is in the 40s or 50s everyday for the foreseeable future starting Tuesday. My prediction is by some point next weekend, just about everything that currently has less than 6 inches will basically be melted. By the weekend after, all that will be left are the huge piles.
