why is bitcoin crashing?

I am out of the loop. What's going on with bitty? I thought it was supposed ronbe decentralized, and move in ways that are different from the stock market and USD? Yet it is going down as the dollar has declined and the stock market has hit a ceiling.

Nobody really knows. How can you know when it is decentralized?

Number go up, number go down

Decentralized has nothing to do with whether it moves with the stock market or the dollar. It's an investment just like any other.

It has no inherent value. It goes up and down entirely based on the feelings of people trading it.

The rubes who would have been buying BTC are buying all things AI, which is also driving up cost of mining hardware and electricity. Lots of headwinds and no greater fools.

It's ghost currency.

I don’t know what that means. Is that a term for a currency that can’t be used to buy much of anything?

I can’t believe that at this point people don’t understand bubbles and boom & bust cycles. OP do you really not understand this? Please stick to index funds until you get a better understanding of the basics.

You’re gonna realize it’s a Ponzi scheme made up by people in the Epstein files.

There have been so many cycles now and people still don't realize. Hopefully lots of good opportunities in 2026.

Are you claiming its just the 4-year crash and rise phoenix cycle that BTC does?
