WDYD when you don't have a ride home post-colonoscopy ?

I am due for one but last time I checked they didn't let you just leave with just anyone.

Do they let uber drivers sign you out now? I'm 7 years out of a 5 year plan, my last should have been 2024

Otherwise I have no one and just keep putting all the calls to make an endoscopy appointment off into the ether

Most colonoscopy places will have a service they recommend for driving you home. I do not believe you can use Uber or Lyft.

This comes up all the time. There are several threads in last year. Search for "colonoscopy" people are always not getting one over the ride thing. You just pay.

If I read the op correctly, they are on a 5 year plan which means they are high risk and need the actual scope.

Huh? First, EVERYONE delays a colonoscopy. Second, many people find themselves without rides.
