Agreed. I leave the children in the care of their governess for the moth of February (what a dreadful time of year here in the county) and jet off to St. Moritz.

Shouldn't they be in a European board school? Don't you believe in education?

In all seriousness, I was at Whitetail a little over a week ago, and it was fine. Not great, but fine. They got less snow than DC, though perhaps less ice/sleet as well. Several of the trails off the middle lift were closed, which surprised me. Also, the biggest of green-serving lifts was down all day. I don't think they've received any snow since the big storm. Check the snow/trail report on their website.

No no, darling. The children need to stay here so they can prepare for their busy equestrian season that's right around the corner.

You sent them to a boarding school that doesn't have horses? You're a monster.

Why do you always go to whitetail but never liberty? Is it some kind of (perceived) class signal or something? The reasons always seem vague and arbitrary.

If you were a baller, you would pay for the governess for the month and jet off for two months on your private jet to the Swiss Alps.

DH and DS went last weekend and said it was icy. Will be worse this weekend.

I've never been to Liberty, but my understanding is it's significantly smaller than Whitetail. They're further east as well, so they likely get less snow too.

I swear there's a movie about this.
