Any chance of 2hr delay announced at 5am?

They can but I would be shocked if they called a delay at this point.

A green code shouldn’t have been called yesterday. They could have posted a message that they are monitoring conditions and would update by 5am.

Why would they?

They should have. Buses need time.

That doesn't make any sense. The gaps between bus runs doesn't change when there's a delay, just the initial start time. If more time is needed to get them going, then they can start earlier.

That's so nice of you to offer to go to the bus depots to start each bus.

That is ridiculously stupid and insensitive. There is no new information that they would have at 5am that they didn’t have on Wednesday. Why make families scramble to make plans?

You're saying that isn't part of the basic responsibilities of the job?

Also, why do you think they needed more time this morning? Buses are already clear from yesterday and Tuesday.

If this is an issue, then MCPS should pay the workers overtime to arrive earlier. Good giref. The whining on this forum is unreal.
