Curly haircut

I’m getting a curly haircut this week. Has anyone had this type of cut? Not sure if I’ll like it because I don’t want a round cut. I also don’t want short layers in the front, or bangs. I’ve never had this type of cut before. Are they cut curly or dry?

The trend for many years has been a dry cut. Talk to your stylist and express your concerns. Consider a consultation before the cut if you're uncertain. Look at their Instagram to get a feel for their style.

DH gets dry cuts and looks good; lots of texture and very, very thick hair.

I am not always happy with dry cuts for myself because the weather has such impact on my fine curls which are very loose. I get better results with wet cuts.

My kid has tight curls with very clear curl pattern and definition and his stylist cuts wet; it always looks amazing.
