| My brother brought back fresh chocolates from Europe for me but they have not been refridgerated for 2 weeks. Are they safe to eat? They are not regular chocolate, but contain fresh butter/cream. They were in a box, but the box is not airtight. I did some searches on line and only found websites saying fresh chocolates have a "limited" shelf life but it doesn't say how long "limited" is. |
| Oooh, are they Leonidas? The best. I would eat them -- sickness be damned! |
| Were they sold on the shelf and not refrigerated? My guess is that they are ok. |
They were not in the box when purchased, my brother hand said he selected them from a glass case and they put them in the box for him. |
| No, not safe at all. For the love of God, protect yourself and your loved ones by immediately bringing all suspect chocolate to my house. I promise to dispose of it safely. |
Leonidas the best???? That's the cheap stuff to bring back for coworkers. |
