Seeking chocolate brownie creme brulee recipe (Bon Appetit)

I've lost a cherished recipe -- from Bon Appetit for Chocolate Brownie Creme Brulee. It is not a brownie with a creme brulee layer. It is creme brulee with a layer of brownie underneath. It was published as a response to one of those reader questions about a dish that they enjoyed at some restaurant -- which is perhaps why it doesn't come up in a search I did on the Bon Appetit website. If anyone happens to have it and would share, I would be so grateful!

I can't find anything referencing Bon Appetit but I did find this. I hope it helps!

You can also go through back issues of Bon Appetit utilizing the PressReader database that most public libraries have.

Just make a chocolate base for creme brulee.

That feature in the magazine was the “R.S.V.P.” Column. I have a subscription but their search engine is very fussy, especially oddly about title. I searched a few variations on the name and didn’t see anything. If you remember any more I could try again.

Alternatively, the internet seems to have lots of versions out there. Odds are you may see one you recognize. Good luck.
