| I ama prudence. Dh bought me some stuff to loosen up. Embarrassed to use them. He has a much higher sex drive and is very sensual. I am fine with vanilla sex. |
| Prude not prudence |

Two possibilities:
- completely dark bedroom, or - sleep mask which blocks all light for you. |
| Do you want to use them? If you don't, then don't. What's the actual issue your H has? |
| Being sensual is not at all the same as being sexual. Just saying. |
| Mine just looks like a stone |

How did you get here OP?
Why are you doing or using something you’re clearly not comfortable with? |
This. I mean if you WANT to do more than vanilla and are just trying to figure out a way to get out of your head about it, that's one thing. If you're forcing yourself to do something you're not comfortable with, that's not ok. He shouldn't have married you if he wasn't ok with vanilla sex and no one who loves or respects you would try to make you do something you're not comfortable with. |

There are two types of 50+ or 60+ couples with functional sex lives: those who use toys or those who will.
Toys are great once you get over the initial experience (which you seem to be wrestling with), of: - are we really using this in bed? (why, yes. Yes you are. And that’s OK). |
| DW walked out of the bathroom wearing a $trap0n and she was laughing. |
