We are going to get to a point where gambling becomes such a scourge that it will actually drive political decision making an policy for the country since there is too much money to be made.
Imagine being the Preisdent. WHO HAD BOMBING SRI LANKA IN THEIR PREDICTIONS FOR 2026? Of course no one does. Yet if the president or someone in his family placed a bet, the prez the next day could order bombing strikes on Sri Lanka and the bet could turn into millions of dollars. It is literally gaming life. And it will encourage ungodly amounts of corruption in order to reap potential millions of dollars on corruptive actions that only insiders know to bet on. Betting in life events needs to be entirely banned, period. And not only due to massive risk for corruption, but also due to addiction risks. |
