How do Mls next 2 teams qualify? And can all age groups go?

Both league play and regional qualifier tournaments - https://www.mlssoccer.com/mlsnext/events/ - for HG it's the top two teams by region.

Note AD teams are in the Premier bracket and not Championship.

VRSC U16 only team from DMV representing at mls next cup. GO REV!

Our AD u16 plays in the VA regional tournament in April, which made sense to me as a wrap up on the season. I later realized though that other teams in our region played instead in the Florida regional - which just seems strange. Good on them I suppose to have clarity about May+.

It doesnt seem like u13 or u14 teams can go. DS's team is first in their division and we were under the impression that would qualify them. But now looks like it starts at u15.

From the website: At the U13 and U14 age groups, 32 teams will compete in the Championship bracket with another 32 teams in the Premier bracket.

Our Club was told No 2012 or 2013 qualification for MLSN AD teams.

We have two teams in first and who won groups at MLS Fest.

Were you also told originally that the teams had the chance to go?

Teams/clubs can decide not to participate even if they qualify. MLS Next just moves to the next ranked team and offers that spot. So sometimes the brackets get a little wonky with teams that didn't initially qualify but get there by virtue of being willing to attend after a higher team backs out.
