What do I do about my Ring doorbell camera?

I'm reading that Ring is hooked in with ICE surveillance and I don't want to be a part of that. However, I find the Ring useful and protective (it already caught and helped prosecute one house robber).

Hell, they can listen to you in your home through your smart tv. When it is off. For reals -- this isn't some weird conspiracy theory paranoia thing.

To opt out of sharing your Ring camera footage with law enforcement, you can disable the 'Community Requests' feature in the Ring app. This prevents your footage from being voluntarily shared with agencies like ICE.
