Peri question - Day 73

Just turned 58. I have gone 73 days after never going more than 40 (spaced last two periods). I am hoping I’m totally done since I am so old.... My question is I have the feeling that I could get my period any day and I’ve had cervical mucus. If you have cervical mucus, does that mean you probably ovulated and you are gonna get a period or can you have phantom cervical mucus? thank you

Update. I got my period. I thought I’d be done by now.

Ugh, sorry. I'm 53 and last year I went 7 months without a period. Got my period, then I went 11 months without. Got really excited. Got my period last month and was super cranky about it. Started counting again. I surveyed a bunch of genX women in a Facebook group, and the consensus is that this is really normal. So this will probably happen a couple more times.

Same here. 52, had an 8 month stint early last year. Period. 6 months and period. I see it as a blessing. The estrogen is still flowing and that's a good thing. But peri is not bad for me so YMMV.

Ugh so sorry.
I didn’t go a full year without a period until I was 56.
