Late payment-mortgage question

Anonymous
I pay my monthly mortgage through Bank of america. I usually pay on 1st but we have a grace period till 15th. Last week, I know that I scheduled a payment on 15th which is today, I went online and did it through their website. Now, I checked my other bank and I saw that they did not take any payment yet. I do not see any pending transaction either. I am afraid that my credit score will be affected. I was trying to call them but I guess offices are closed. When does the bank usually get the money from your checking once you scheduled a payment. I am certain that I scheduled a payment but I don't know for some reason, I don't see a pending transcation. I am praying that tomorrow, i might see it if not then I have to call my lender and pay them first thing monday morning... will this affect my credit score? If I pay 2 days after my grace period? Hope to hear from you. thanks

Should be fine. With my bank, I usually see the payment go out on web bill pay, but the money comes out of my account a few days later. Sometimes I think a payment hasn't been made, but I look it up and it has; it just hasn't "cleared" yet.

You are fine. They only report to the credit bureau if you are late 30+ days.

You are definitely fine- and if you did through online bill pay and any late fees are charged, you may be able to get bank and/or mortgage to waive.
