blender recs

So I use my blender mostly for food related stuff, blending for muffins, soufflés and sauces. I have a ninja that i’ve had for probably 10 years and although it’s “fine” it takes a really long extended period of time to get things the consistency I need. Like it will get there-but it’s a process. I don’t know if it’s just lost power over time or it’s always been like this.

So I want to replace it and I don’t think I need a vitamix or similar as it’s very rare I ever need to blend ice (although maybe a couple times a year). Is there another blender you would recommend?

Vitamix. End of story.

I have the Vitamix immersion blender. It does everything and easy to store and clean.

Don’t you have a mixer? There’s no point in getting a n immersion blender just for that.

Why wouldn’t you get a food processor for this?

You make sauces with a mixer? A mixer mixes, it doesn’t break up and blend like an immersion blender or regular blender.

OP here. The food processor is huge and a really big PITA to clean, that’s why. I do use my super mini one when it will work for what i’m making though.

If you dont need something extreme and want something more compact, we just got the beast and it works well.

I have a vitamix and a magic bullet. I love my vitamix! You can do so much more than just crushing ice (?). I just use the magic bullet for smaller things, like chimichurri or a single protein shake.
