Can you freeze a whole spaghetti squash?

Anonymous
I planned to hit the grocery store for a couple of things before going to them gym Saturday morning. I'd rather go early to avoid the crowds at the store, and would leave the spaghetti squash in my car. It's going to be bitterly cold, so it may freeze.

Would that render it unusable? Or is it ok to freeze (and then defrost or cook) a whole spaghetti squash?

I doubt it will freeze that fast. It should be fine.

It's going to be 12 degrees, and in my car for like 3 hours.

How long are you in the gym? An hour or two, it will be fine.

Throw it in a cooler

It won’t freeze during that time.
