Hand tattoos

Anonymous
I just randomly clicked on a woman’s proposal post on Instagram. It shows a closeup of the ring and she and her fiancée (lovely).

The ring is on her hand, which is covered in black tattoos.

Ladies, while your youthful hands look lovely now, when you are older and wrinkly and your hands are worn, these hand tattoos will look terrible! It’s not like piercings or tattoos you can cover up as you age!

That’s my PSA.

Thank you random stranger, I was going to get a large hand tattoo but this post convinced me not to. I didn't consider wrinkles!

Trash, going nowhere. Probably a fake ring given to her by her trash fiance.

Not a fan, personally, but if they're not my hands, it's not my business.

...any tattoos.

Agree. It's a horrible mistake. And they are difficult to get laser removal. My SIL has a sleeve in an indian henna style/lace and it's looking like dark HAIR now. Hideous.

I have heard that tattoos on fingers fade quite fast.
I don't know why, perhaps because the skin is different on the hands, or because you move your fingers a lot?

Not only aging skin but aging fashion. Can you imagine liking the same style your entire life? Would you have the same hairstyle or clothes or avocado green kitchen counters literally FOREVER? Why do people imagine a tattoo will look good FOREVER. So ridiculous.

Who cares? If you don’t want one, don’t get one. I didn’t ask for your opinion on mine.

Reality check: you're not going to look good forever with or without tattoos. Your skin is going to sag, wrinkle, crepe, and everything else. Live your life and stop hoping you're going to look 23 when 60. You won't.

Mostly sun exposure.

Ugh! 😣

I could not agree more!!

It will look so gross in the future, because trust me hands are the first place that show a woman’s age.
And to imagine these hands are dry ➕ wrinkly w/a bunch to tattoos on them.

Yuck.

So tacky. My SIL has a black tattoo lace sleeve that looks like black arm hair. She also frequents tanning beds and looks about 55 at 41.
