I got a bouquet of 3 dozen roses and a big box of my favorite chocolate truffles. Cliched but I love it.

DH cooks my favorite meal and gets me flowers. Then we have a weekend or night away near Valentine's Day. I'm not much of a gift person.

He had a private chef come make us dinner and dessert, then made me a bath with epsom salts, then we watched Netflix and did a lot of chilling.

He commissioned a necklace and earrings from my favorite jewelry artist. He had a concept in mind, she provided feedback from what she knew I liked and I love the finished pieces.

This is such a weird take. People are allowed to like whatever holidays they like. When people tell you what costumes they are wearing for Halloween, do you chime in to tell them they are childish and immature?

I think some people don’t feel treated special at all usually which is why it matters.
