Rheumatologist - Small Practice?

| I go to a large rheumatology practice. They keep submitting the wrong paperwork for my pre authorization renewal for a drug I’ve been on for years. It’s a biologic so when I go off of it I flare pretty bad. Do you go to a rheumatologist who doesn’t have problems with drug renewals? Preferably in DC. Thanks. |

| That sucks, I’m sorry. No suggestions. I see someone at Georgetown hospital but I’m not on a biologic so I have no idea what the paperwork situation is like for that. |

| Dr. Bunker at Medstar G'town seems pretty great, but like PP I don't know anything about biologics. |

| My issue isn’t the provider, it’s the insurance owned specialty pharmacies. They white label everything and don’t apply copay assistance cards correctly. I’ve had to switch to infusions to cut out the middle man |
